At Ceko’s Il Pescatore is a historic fish market in Lecco, renowned and known by all the inhabitants of the area for the high quality of the fish offered. The business was born from the love and passion of the Ghislanzoni family, a historic fishing family from the Pescarenico district, for fish in all its varieties, from lake to sea fish. The shop offers excellent fresh lake fish every day, caught in the fresh waters of Lecco by the fishmonger’s team led by Francesco Ghislanzoni. At the counter there is never a shortage of sea fish, which arrives fresh every day and is processed with the utmost care.
At Ceko’s Il Pescatore also acts as a gastronomy: weekly menus are proposed based on the most traditional recipes to the most modern, rigorously starting from selected and extremely fresh raw materials. Lunches and dinners can be eaten in the internal rooms of the restaurant and in the dehor or packaged for take away.
What can I say. Before the food, I cannot fail to evaluate the courtesy of the staff and the owners. Excellent and perfect! The quality of the raw material is undoubtedly there. The cooking, to my taste, needs to be improved in the sense that there could be a few minutes in less. I repeat, however, it is my taste. I really appreciated the waiter's attention to my request for information on the misoltini. I had never tasted them before and the waiter warned me of their particular taste, suggesting me to taste them in small portions before ordering them. Very correct and professional. For the rest, the place, context and prices deserve to go back."
